Dhana Bai

At the age of 102, Dhana Bai set out from Madhya Pradesh to visit her relatives. However, she accidentally boarded the wrong train and ended up in Delhi. Unable to communicate her address or family details, she was taken in by the police and subsequently shifted to the nearest old age home in Delhi. There, she remained for eight months, with little hope of returning home.

Ek Khwaab Foundation, dedicated to reuniting separated individuals with their families, stepped in. We recorded several videos of Dhana Bai and distributed them among our volunteers. Remarkably, within just three hours, we were able to locate Dhana Bai's family and gather all necessary information from them.

The following day, her family arrived in Delhi. We welcomed them at the railway station and escorted them to the old age home. After an eight-month separation, Dhana Bai was finally reunited with her family. The reunion was filled with emotion and happiness, as everyone celebrated the long-awaited reunion.
